How it works
Pick a category, enter a value in the "From" box, and choose which unit you are converting from. Every other unit in that category appears with its equivalent value in the results panel. The conversions update as you type, so there is no submit button to press.
Temperature
Temperature conversions use their own formulas because Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin do not share a linear scale like the other units. The three are always shown together.
Precision
Values are displayed with up to six significant figures, which is enough for everyday use. The underlying arithmetic uses full JavaScript floating-point precision, so rounding happens only at the display stage.
